Aug 2025: Excellent service! Very friendly and quick, came to check on us several times make sure that we had everything we needed. We ordered the fish and chips dinner (didn't like the fries) and the turkey dinner (very large portion). These came with soup salad or coleslaw. Spend approximately $17 per meal and we left very full.
Great "comfort" food, filling and really easy on the wallet. Was visiting the area from Oregon, Dirifters was recommended to us for a good hearty breakfast and it became a go to spot for the next 7 days! Went later in the day a couple times to try things other than the breakfasts, which were awesome, but their lunch and dinner menu certainly did not disappoint either, plus breakfast is served all day so that was a temptation that had to be faced too. A good temptation. A very very good temptation.

Ate dinner at Drifters this evening. Ordered the special; Turkey Dinner. It was excellent…large portions, served with mashed potatoes and gravy, cornbread stuffing, corn, and cranberry sauce. Service was great too! I not hesitate to give a try if you’re in the Escanaba, Michigan area.
My son and i there today , both military veterans, he is home on leave. The food was great. The waitresses amazing. A bit of a wait. But well worth it. Ty
After a long day on the road we were needing food. Saw this on the way in and decided to come back, was the right choice. We were seated with no wait, everything was clean and neat. I ordered the Bang Bang chicken wrap and my wife had the French dip. The food came out fast and hot. Great potions for both. Both were good but sorta expected the chicken to be have a bit more kick but was still delicious. Don't forget the great fries! Definitely will stop again if we're up.

This family restaurant has great food and great prices! The portions are HUGE, and the staff is friendly. I ordered the perch dinner, and my husband ordered country fried steak and eggs. He also got 2 enormous pancakes with his meal. We ate for under $40. I highly recommend this restaurant!
Great food, great wait staff, very friendly. Food was pretty quick coming out even with the place pretty full. Large portions, well worth the price!! Will differently stop next time though here.
